A Stingy Man and a Poor Family

 

Below is an original narrative text written by Awanda, Cloudia, Della, Arizal, and Siska Dian from Class XI IPA 5. The story is based on the picture above. Great work! 

A long time ago in a town, there was a man who has been hate by his neighbors. Because he was stingy and didn’t care all about around him. Beside that, lived a poor family. Just mother, and 2 children in this family. They were fatherless child.

One day, the mother didn’t have any money because she didn’t work. Her children were hungry and she decided to ask her neighbors to give him some foods. So, she went to the stingy man (Mr. Pat). “Mr. Pat please give me some foods, please! We are hungry,” said the mother. Mr. Pat laughed. “Hahaha…what? Some foods? I don’t want to help you. Go away from house!”

The mother came back to home. She was very sad after looked at her children were crying. And then she thought to steal some foods in Mr. Pat’s House than looked her children died of hunger. So she took her children went to Mr. Pat’s house to afford got some foods. They looked Mr. Pat were eating in his dining room table. Then they hid under the table. When Mr. Pat took a cup of water, the mother and her children took some foods on the table but Mr. Pat knew that! “Hei! What are you doing? How awful you are,” Mr. Pat shouted. The mother and her children ran away from that place.

The mother scared but she felt happy because she got some foods to eat. She got sufficient food. She thought that Mr. Pat would forgive her because Mr. Pat was a wealthy man. Finally, the poor family could eat well.
